I am highly unsatisfied with my experience. What was initially diagnosed and quoted as a $500 issue ended up costing me $2,500. I was first told one thing, but after that problem was “fixed,” I was suddenly informed that something else was wrong—something that was not identified in the original diagnostic test. It feels as though the issue may have been caused or worsened during the repair process, yet I was still held responsible for the additional cost. This lack of transparency and accountability has left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of.

My car was dropped off 15 min earlier for my 8:00 appt.with the keys left in the car. I was unaware of a Dropbox for the keys. I confirmed my appt the evening before saying I would be there. After not hearing from the dealership all day, I called to check on the status at 4:30. The vehicle had not been looked at all day because the keys were not left in the lockbox and they were "unaware" the car was there. Even though they noticed the car parked on the side, they were expecting that particular car, and they never called when they thought I had missed my appointment I had just confirmed the evening before. They told me they do not walk the lot and look for vehicles. Apparently they do not call their customers if they feel they have forgotten their appointment either to check where they are. My car sat there all day and was never looked at. A job that could have taken 2 hrs took 28 hrs. 28hrs I was without my vehicle as a huge inconvenience to me and my family. The dealership did detail my car as an apology and I did appreciate that.

My experience with Yates GMC has been awesome! Tony was wonderful to work with and helped me get into the car I have been wanting! He kept me up to date on when the car I wanted was arriving. I went to the dealership on a Friday at 5pm and drove home with my car at 7:30pm! Very fast service! I would recommend anyone looking for a GMC to look here first! However, I wish you still had paperback Owner's Manuals that one could take out of the car and study. It is not safe to have to read a screen while you are driving and it is wasteful to have to have the motor running while you sit in your garage (carport, or driveway) to study what is on the screen.
